The only way to get a song to sound like it does in your head
is to do it yourself. It's fun to work with others, but if you
have ideas and you want these ideas to be done justice, you
need total creative control. Of course it takes much longer
to compose and record, but it's worth it. It would be great
to be able to make music that can be viewed as a contribution
to the world. Unfortunately, most of what is out there
today is disappointing. Maybe that's harsh judgment, but I also
judge myself be the same standards. Is that good or bad? You
